Creative Contemplative

My art usually uses high pitch colours portrayed in oil paint. At times I have veered towards abstract at times the pendulum has swung more towards symbolist style work. My work is informed to a degree by colour theory and also my own intuitive relationship with colour. I have also studied the human form for many years. I have combined these three elements of colour representing an interior feeling energy, mood or quality, a symbol of some kind also representing the meaning of the quality or form of the feeling with the human form to create a style of art I call symbolic existential expressionism.
